May 2, Fineko/abc.az. Economy Minister Shahin Mustafayev met with Minister of Foreign Affairs Rodolfo Nin Novo of Uruguay, who is on a visit to Azerbaijan. The sides covered the prospects of economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Uruguay.

An agreement on economic, trade and technical cooperation between the governments of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Eastern Republic of Uruguay was signed during the meeting.
The document provides for the creation of a Joint Commission on expansion of economic, trade and technical cooperation between the two countries, cooperation between small and medium-sized businesses, promotion to participation in international exhibitions and fairs in both countries, the organization of exchange of experience in the field of investments and other issues.
