August 18, Fineko/abc.az. By the end of 2026, Azerbaijan's state budget expenditures are expected to reach 40 billion 862.6 million manats. This is 2% lower than the approved figure.

According to the report titled "Report on the Semi-Annual Execution of the 2026 State and Consolidated Budgets and End-of-Year Expectations" released by the Ministry of Finance, the economic classification of expenditures is set as follows:

• Current expenditures: 24.7131 billion manats (60.5% of total expenditures, down by 1.9%)

• Capital expenditures: 13.6918 billion manats (33.5% of total expenditures, down by 2.5%)

• State debt service expenditures: 2.4576 billion manats (6% of total expenditures, unchanged)

Out of the state debt service expenditures, 1.4 billion manats account for external debt and 1.0576 billion manats account for domestic debt.
