August 23, Fineko/abc.az. President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev expressed his gratitude to President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev for his personal support in enabling Azerbaijan's full participation in the Consultative Meetings of Central Asian Heads of State.

Highlighting that the decision was officially taken in Tashkent, President Aliyev emphasized the strategic importance Azerbaijan attaches to its integration with the Central Asian region.

The President reaffirmed that Azerbaijan approaches all joint initiatives and regional collaboration frameworks with the utmost responsibility and enthusiasm.
