August 23, Fineko/abc.az. A document signing ceremony was held in Tashkent with the participation of President Ilham Aliyev and President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

The two leaders officially signed the "Treaty on Eternal Friendship between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Uzbekistan."

Key agreements reached include a Program to increase mutual trade volume to $1 billion by 2030, a Roadmap for joint trade and investment projects, alongside bilateral accords on pension provisions, tourism, culture, and customs kinology.

Additionally, protocols establishing sister-city relations were exchanged between Khankendi and Urgench, Nakhchivan and Urgench, as well as Lachin and Bukhara.
