May 19, Fineko/abc.az. The names of the Persian Gulf countries with which Azerbaijan has conducted the largest number of trade operations have become known.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Customs Committee that for Jan-Apr 2020 Iran, the UAE and Saudi Arabia were among Top 3 of countries in the Persian Gulf where Azerbaijan carried out the largest number of trade operations.

For the reporting period Azerbaijan’s trade turnover with Iran amounted to $105.6 million, UAE $11.4 million, and Saudi Arabia $4.6 million.

Trade turnover with all three countries decreased compared with the same term of 2019. These countries are also among the three countries of the Persian Gulf, from which Azerbaijan imports the largest amount of products. The cost of imports from Iran reached $95 million, from the UAE - $7.3 million, and from Saudi Arabia $4 million. Compared with the 2019 same term, imports from these countries reduced.
