August 21, Fineko/abc.az. According to the State Statistics Committee, Azerbaijan produced 59,656.9 tonnes of salt in the first seven months of 2026, marking a 25.3% increase compared to the same period last year. For comparison, salt output stood at 47,604.8 tonnes in January–July 2025.

Alongside higher output, finished product inventories held at industrial facilities as of August 1 surged by 77.5% to reach 26.8 tonnes, up from 15.1 tonnes recorded in the corresponding period of 2025.
