July 1, Fineko/abc.az. The number of active taxpayers increased by 13.1% up to 452,242 as of 1 June 2019.

The Ministry of Taxes reports that the number of active VAT payers grew by 40% up to 21,394 during the reporting period.

Since 1 June 2019 the number of active legal entities has increased by 18.1% (versus the 2018 same term) up to 71,930 and the number of active individuals by 12.2% up to 380,312.

During this period the number of active VAT payers who are legal entities increased by 33.9% up to 17,610 and the number of active VAT payers who are individuals by 78.2% and reached 3,784.

Since 1 June 2019 the number of active facilities (economic entities) grew by 14.2% up to 145,377.
