August 20, Fineko/abc.az. Under the "State Program for Tourism Development 2026–2030" approved by President Ilham Aliyev, Azerbaijan will introduce investment promotion mechanisms and financial incentives for tourism-related projects.

Pursuant to the program, 3 new tourism and recreation zones along with at least 3 tourism centers within them will be established, alongside the drafting of their master development plans.

Furthermore, the state will provide interest rate subsidies on local currency (AZN) bank loans for investment projects covering hotels, sanatorium-resort facilities, winter sports arenas, and congress centers within these designated tourism zones.
