August 18, Fineko/abc.az. Average annual inflation in Azerbaijan is expected to reach 5.7% this year, up from the previously projected 4.8%.

This is reported in the document released by the Ministry of Finance titled "Report on the Semi-Annual Execution of the 2026 State and Consolidated Budgets and End-of-Year Expectations."

According to the report, the inflation forecast was revised upward taking into account the actual inflation rate in the year to date, global commodity and food prices, their pass-through to import costs, as well as adjustments in regulated goods and service tariffs.
