August 18, Fineko/abc.az. By the end of 2026, Azerbaijan's state budget deficit is projected to stand at 1 billion 497.6 million manats.

According to the Ministry of Finance, the ratio of the deficit to the gross domestic product (GDP) expected by the end of the year will amount to 1.1%.

The deficit will be financed through funds raised via domestic borrowing, the free balance of the single treasury account, and remaining funds of targeted budget funds. At the same time, the ratio of the consolidated budget's non-oil primary deficit to non-oil GDP is expected to decrease to 17.5% by the end of the year.
