July 3, Fineko/abc.az. China-based Alibaba has banned employees to use Anthropic's AI tool Claude Code after revealing features that can identify users from China.

Employees are advised to switch to its own Qoder platform. The decision comes amid a dispute between the companies and claims by Anthropic about attempts to extract the capabilities of its Claude model.
