22 August, Fineko/abc.az. Apple is reorganizing teams responsible for its Siri digital assistant and Vision Pro headset to streamline operations and reallocate resources toward next-generation artificial intelligence technologies.

The restructuring impacts over 200 employees. Approximately 100 positions were eliminated within the Vision Pro division—mainly affecting gaming and immersive video teams—while another 100 roles were cut across the Siri engineering and Intelligent Systems Experience (ISE) teams.

Apple confirmed the realignment, explaining that changes in Siri's underlying technical architecture require shifting resources to new functional areas. While certain legacy positions are being eliminated, the tech giant plans to create new roles aligned with its updated AI priorities.
