VK Sues Apple Over App Store Ban — Demands Over $600,000 Per Day in Penalties

August 22, Fineko/abc.az. Russian tech giant VK has filed a lawsuit in the Moscow Arbitration Court against Apple Inc., Apple Distribution International Ltd, and LLC Apple Rus following the removal of its mobile applications from the App Store.

VK demands the immediate restoration of its applications on the App Store, the reactivation of push notification services for users, and daily penalty fees in the event of non-compliance with the court order.

Specifically, the holding seeks 58 million rubles (over $600,000) for every single day its applications remain unavailable on Apple's platform.
