August 19, Fineko/abc.az. Amazon announced plans to expand its Prime Air drone delivery service to hundreds of U.S. cities and towns by the end of the year, scaling up from its current 11 operational hubs. A single delivery hub can reach multiple towns within a 7.5-mile radius, extending the company's total footprint to approximately 500 locales.

The latest MK30 drone model hovers above the ground to drop off packages rather than landing. Drone delivery fees are set at $4.99 for standard customers and $2.99 for Prime members, with fees waived for orders of $50 or more.
