July 3, Fineko/abc.az. Anthropic is toughening measures against circumventing restrictions on access to its AI services from China.

According to the Financial Times, companies like Ant Financial and ByteDance have been using foreign entities, VPNs, and cloud services to work with Claude.

While such schemes do not violate laws, they do violate Anthropic's rules. In response, the company began to actively monitor suspicious activity, including the analysis of time zones and "transit" services, as well as the use of the Microsoft Azure cloud platform.
