December 15, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Nov 2025, our country produced 14,215.4 tons of bags and bags made of polyethylene (15.2% less versus the 2024 ame term), ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee.

The stock of finished products as of 01.12.2025 is 320.1 tons.

In order to reduce the use of plastic bags harmful to the environment, from February 15, 2023, the country introduced paid distribution of previously free plastic bags.
