July 30, Fineko/abc.az. The amount saved to the State Budget as a result of competitive procurement in the first half of this year increased by 38.6% versus Jan-Jun 2024 up to 329 million manats, ABC.AZ reports, referring to the State Agency for Antimonopoly Supervision & Consumer Market Control under the Presidential Administration.

"The amount of savings, being one of the main indicators of financial efficiency and competitiveness in the field of public procurement, is formed due to the difference between the probable prices for approved competitive purchases and the prices offered by suppliers who won these purchases," the Agency says.
