June 19, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-May 2025, Azerbaijan's foreign trade surplus amounted to $1.04 billion.

ABC.AZ reports that such information was disseminated by the State Customs Committee, which released preliminary figures.

In just 5 months of 2025, export operations totaled $11 billion, of which $2.22 billion accounted for May alone.

87.2% of exports accounted for crude oil and gas. In just 5 months, oil and gas products worth $9.59 billion were exported, of which $5.64 billion accounted for crude oil and $3.83 billion for natural gas.

During this time, Azerbaijan exported a total of $1.41 billion worth of oil products abroad. Of them, $291.39 million is spent on fruits and vegetables.
