February 4, Fineko/abc.az. Georgia's tourism revenues in 2024 amounted to $4.4 billion ($300 million or about 7% more than in 2023).

ABC.AZ reports that Georgia received $186.5 million or 3.8% of earnings in 2024 at the expense of tourists from Azerbaijan.

Georgia received most of all income from tourists from Russia ($850.1 million).

Compared to 2023, country's tourism income decreased at the expense of neighboring countries (Azerbaijan, Russia and Armenia) and increased at the expense of the Middle East.

According to the forecasts of investment bank Galt & Taggart, by 2025, tourism revenues in Georgia will reach $4.5 billion.
