Georgia’s earnings total $59.5 million for Q2 due to only Azerbaijani tourists

July 20, Fineko/abc.az. Georgia earned $59.5 million from visits by travelers from Azerbaijan in the 2nd quarter of this year, the National Bank of Georgia reports.

The figure makes up a 10.3% increase compared with Q2 of 2025.

In the 2nd quarter of  2026, Georgia's overall revenue from international travel declined by 3.8% year-on-year to $1.1 billion.

The largest shares of tourism revenue came from EU countries with $194.9 million, followed by Russia with $182.8 million, Türkiye with $134.9 million, and Israel with $123.8 million.
