August 17, Fineko/abc.az. In the first seven months of 2026 (January–July), Azerbaijan's foreign trade turnover reached $29.216 billion, marking a 1.3% increase compared to the same period of last year.

According to the State Customs Committee, exports accounted for $19.336 billion of the total turnover, while imports stood at $9.881 billion. Year-on-year, exports surged by 27%, whereas imports declined by 27,4%.

Consequently, the foreign trade balance generated a surplus of $9.455 billion, representing a 5.9-fold increase compared to the corresponding period of 2025.
