September 25, Fineko/abc.az. As it was reported, an overview report on the development of Asia for 2019 was published.
According to ABC.AZ, the report notes that against the background of the positive impact of growth in lending to the economy, an increase in the minimum wage and pensions for personal incomes, household consumption increased by 2.4% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year. The bulk of government consumption grew amid rising government spending on social programs by 15%. Investments declined after the completion of the large-scale South Gas Corridor project. Given the growth of 20.3% due to the growth in net gas exports, as well as the growth in domestic demand, the forecast for economic growth for 2019 will be raised, but the forecast for 2020 will be reduced, since gas production is expected to be carried out at a more stable pace that year.
