Azercosmos exported satellite services for $8.7 million in 4 months

June 2, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Apr 2026, Azerbaijani space agency Azercosmos exported satellite telecommunications services for $8.7 million.

ABC.AZ reports that this is stated in the May issue of the Export Review, published by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms & Communications.

According to the document, the figure is about 55.4% more versus Jan-Apr 2025.

For the first 4 months of 2026, nearly 90 companies from 32 countries imported satellite telecommunications services. Compared to a year earlier, the number of countries decreased by 8. The main export destinations were the UK ($1.4 million), Luxembourg ($1 million), Turkey ($381,100), Pakistan ($370,000) and Sweden ($187,200).

The share of Azercosmos export revenues in its overall revenues decreased from 65% to 64%.

In April alone, Azercosmos exported satellite telecommunications services for $4.6 million (2.9-fold more year-on-year).
