August 20, Fineko/abc.az. According to the State Customs Committee, Azerbaijan exported 821,311 tons of crude oil to Romania worth $522.201 million during the first seven months of 2026.

Compared to the same period last year, export volume to Romania increased by 19.7%, while total value grew by 38.1%. Romania accounted for 6.45% of Azerbaijan's total crude oil exports.

In total, Azerbaijan exported 12.722 million tons of crude oil and petroleum products valued at $8.032 billion during the reporting period. Overall foreign trade turnover reached $29.216 billion, with exports accounting for $19.336 billion and imports totaling $9.881 billion.
