August 20, Fineko/abc.az. According to the State Customs Committee, Azerbaijan exported 77,400 tons of potatoes worth $29.7 million during the first seven months of 2026. Compared to the same period last year, export volumes increased by 9.2% (6,600 tons), while revenue grew by 5.5% ($1.6 million).

Total foreign trade turnover expanded by 1.3% to $29.216 billion. Exports accounted for $19.336 billion (up 27%), while imports totaled $9.881 billion (down 27.4%). Consequently, our foreign trade surplus reached $9.455 billion, marking a 5.9-fold increase year-on-year.
