Grain and agricultural prices closed down following the 21.05.26 trading

May 22, Fineko/abc.az. Following the trading on May 21, 2026, a decrease in prices for grain and agricultural commodities has been mainly recorded at world stock exchanges.

ABC.AZ reports that wheat futures (SRW, CBOT, July 2026) decreased by 10.50 cents per bushel (-1.59%) and closed at 650.00 cents/bushel. The wheat contract (HRW, KCBT, July 2026) fell 11.75 cents (-1.68%) to 687.00 cents/bushel.

In Europe, futures for milled wheat (MATIF) dropped by 0.50 euros per ton (-0.23%) and reached 216.25 euros/ton. At the same time, feed wheat in the UK (ICE Europe, May 2025) increased by 0.15 pounds (+0.08%) to 188.75 GBP/t.
Corn futures (CBOT, July 2026) declined by 3.25 cents (-0.70%) to 462.50 cents/bushel. Raw rice (CBOT, July 2026) rose in price by $0.08 per 100 pounds (+0.62%) to 13.00 USD/100 pounds. Oats also fell by 2.00 cents (-0.55%), closing at 360.50 cents/bushel.
