July 11, Fineko/abc.az. "By the end of summer and the beginning of autumn, prices for quince, pomegranate and figs are likely to rise."

ABC.AZ informs that this assumption was made by Natalia Prodanova, Professor at Plekhanov Russian University of Economics.

She added that in the absence of settlement of the political situation, the price increase may make up 10-15%.

The specialist also explained that introduction of additional checks does not automatically mean the suspension of imports of products from Azerbaijan. According to Prodanova, the Russian market remains an important destination for Baku, and no one is interested in losing this niche - economic expediency exceeds political differences, which, as she put it, will be resolved over time.
