May 18, Fineko/abc.az. The State Statistics Committee has released some statistical data on a number of indicators in Azerbaijan over Jan-Apr 2020.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the SSC’s data that for the reporting period 53.6% of money received by buyers for final consumption were spent on the purchase of foods, beverages and tobacco products, 14.0% on textiles, clothing and footwear, and 5.4% on motor gasoline and diesel fuel.

In addition, 5.1% was spent on purchasing electrical goods and furniture, 1.8% on pharmaceuticals and medical supplies, 0.7% on computers, telecommunications equipment and printing products, and 19.4% on other non-food products.
