February 8, Fineko/abc.az. The inflation rate made up 1.7% in Azerbaijan for January 2019.

The State Statistics Committee informs that prices on foods, beverages and tobacco increased by 0.7%, nonfoods by 1.2%, and services by 3.4%.

"Compared with December 2018, inflation made up 0.2%, prices for food products, beverages and tobacco increased by 0.9%, for nonfoods by 0.2%, prices, while for services fell by 0.8%," the Committee reported.
