August 21, Fineko/abc.az. President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree approving the "Protocol on Cooperation in the Field of Customs Statistics of Mutual Trade between the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan."

Under the decree, the protocol signed in Baku on June 22, 2026, has been officially ratified. Following its entry into force, the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan will ensure the implementation of its provisions.

Additionally, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been instructed to notify the Government of Turkmenistan on the completion of internal state procedures required for the protocol to take effect.
