July 21, Fineko/abc.az. Chinese company Xiaomi has increased its annual smartphone supply plan from 90 million to 110 million phones, despite the pressure of high prices for memory and components.

The decision is reportedly related to expectations of an imminent price drop in the memory market.

Manufacturers, including OPPO and Vivo, have already started resisting price increases by rejecting supplier offers. Previously, the increase in chip prices caused by demand from the AI industry put pressure on the market, but now its stability is being questioned because of reduced demand.
