April 14, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan's real GDP growth in 2026 is expected to reach 2.2%, compared with 1.4% in 2025.
ABC.AZ informs, referring to the IMF report forecasts, that country's economic growth rate will accelerate to 2.5% in 2027.
According to the State Statistics Committee, Azerbaijan's GDP in 2025 amounted to 129.1 billion manats, an increase of 1.4% compared to the previous year. At the same time, value added in the oil & gas sector decreased by 1.6%, while the non-oil sector showed an increase of 2.7%.
Industry occupies the largest share in the structure of GDP - 33%. This is followed by trade and repair of vehicles (11.3%), transport and warehousing (7.1%), construction (6.5%), agriculture, forestry and fishing (5.9%), accommodation and catering (2.8%), information & communications (2.1%), as well as other sectors (21.7%). Net taxes on products and imports made up 9.6% of GDP.
GDP per capita reached 12,602.2 manats.
