December 2, Fineko/abc.az. The ratio of tax revenues from the non-oil/gas sector to GDP in Azerbaijan is expected to reach 12.9% by the end of this year.
ABC.AZ reports that Finance Minister Sahil Babayev said this at today's plenary session of the parliament during the 2nd reading discussion of the Draft Law on the State Budget for 2026.
"We predict that this figure will be 13.1% next year. Thus, there will be no significant tax increases in the non-oil/gas sector next year. And the share of tax revenues in GDP in our economy as a whole is 15.9%. This means that there is high tax regime in the oil & gas sector, and a low one in the non-oil/gas sector," he said.
