August 25, Fineko/abc.az. Small hydropower plants (SHPPs) "Mishni" and "Alkhasli" in the Lachin district have generated a total of 106.5 million kWh of electricity from their commissioning date through July 2026.

According to the Ministry of Energy, "Mishni" SHPP produced 64.3 million kWh, while "Alkhasli" SHPP contributed 42.2 million kWh of electricity during this period.

The 8.25 MW "Mishni" and 6 MW "Alkhasli" SHPPs, built on the Hochaz River — the largest tributary of the Hakari River in the Lachin district —, were commissioned on August 25, 2023.
