Azerbaijan is one of five importers of Turkish pharmaceutical products

September 29, Fineko/abc.az. In the period from 2020 to 2024. Turkey has supplied pharmaceutical products to Azerbaijan for $336.347 million, and this is the fourth indicator among Ankara's trading partners.

ABC.AZ reports, referring to the Turkish Institute of Statistics (TÜIK), that South Korea has become the leader in terms of purchases of Turkish-made pharmaceutical products, which has supplied medical products for $2.182 bn over five years. It is followed by Hungary (approx. $660 million) and Iraq (more than $460 million).

Georgia also entered the Top 5 markets for pharmaceutical manufacturers in Turkey (over $283 million).

According to TÜIK, over the 5-year period (2020-2024), Turkey exported pharmaceutical products for $9.117 bn. Imports amounted to $26.56 bn.
