July 18, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan imported 602,255 tons of wheat in the 1st half of this year.

The cost of wheat imports in this volume reached $130.66 million, ABC.AZ informs with reference to the State Customs Committee.

This is 216,233 tons (56%) more in volume against Jan-Jun 2024, and $45.482 million (53.4%) more in value.

Wheat imports made up 1.1% of Azerbaijan's overall import costs for the past 6 months.
