Rate of arrivals in Azerbaijan from CIS increased by 44.6% for 2023

January 18, Fineko/abc.az. The State Border Guard Service has published statistics on foreigners who visited Azerbaijan in 2023.

ABC.AZ reports that compared with 2022, in 2023, the number of arrivals from China grew 6.5-fold, from South Korea 3.3-fold, from Turkmenistan 2.3-fold, from India 1.9-fold, from Kazakhstan 1.9-fold, from Egypt 1.9-fold, from Tajikistan 1.8-fold, Poland 1.8-fold, Kyrgyzstan 1.8-fold, Bahrain 1.7-fold, Philippines 1.7-fold, Italy 1.6-fold, Spain 1.6-fold, Uzbekistan 1.5-fold, Belarus by 48.8%, Moldova by 48.2%, Canada by 40%, Russia by 39.9%, the USA by 37.9%, Kuwait by 31.3%, France by 29.8%, Georgia and the Netherlands by 26%, from the UK by 23.4%, Israel by 21.6%, Türkiye by 21.2%, Germany by 18.3%, Ukraine by 12.7%, from the UAE by 11.4%, from Pakistan by 6.7% and from Jordan by 6%.

Compared with 2022, the number of arrivals from the CIS countries increased by 44.6% up to 824,100 people, from the EU member states by 41.6% up to 104,800 people, from the Persian Gulf countries by 2.1% up to 350,200 people.
