May 23, Fineko/abc.az. The State Statistics Committee reports that the country produced 436 automobiles over Jan-Apr of the year.

Production of machinery and equipment, other transportation vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers for the past 4 months amounted to AZN 69.3 million.

Compared with the 2018 same term, production of automobiles, trailers and semi-trailers increased by 76.7%, machinery and equipment by 12.1%, while manufacture of other transportation vehicles decreased by 4.2%.

During the reporting period 451 tractors and 436 passenger cars were produced. Production of fountain valves increased by 53.7% and downhole sucker-rod pumps by 30.2%.
