August 25, Fineko/abc.az. President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has signed an Order simplifying visa procedures for foreigners and stateless persons traveling to Azerbaijan for the 2026 Formula 1 race in Baku. Under the order, eligible individuals presenting supporting documentation can obtain a visa upon arrival at Azerbaijan's international airports from August 25 through September 30, 2026.

Eligible documents for obtaining a visa:

• F1 / FIA Accreditation: An accreditation card or confirmation document compliant with Formula One Management Limited and International Automobile Federation rules.

• Baku City Circuit Accreditation: An official accreditation card issued by the Baku City Circuit Operations Company.

• Race Ticket: A valid ticket (including electronic tickets) or proof of ticket purchase for the 2026 Formula 1 Baku race.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been tasked with informing international stakeholders and promoting ASAN Visa access, while the State Migration Service will inform operating airlines.
