August 25, Fineko/abc.az. Interocean Energy Services FZCO, part of the UK-based Interocean Group, has established a strategic joint venture with Baku-based Green Line Shipping LLC.

This partnership aims to strengthen Interocean Group’s long-term presence in Azerbaijan and the broader Caspian region, opening new opportunities across marine services, offshore energy, and integrated asset solutions. The initiative is being led by Alex Clark, Commercial Director (CCO) of Interocean Group.

The collaboration combines Interocean Group’s global expertise and offshore operational standards with Green Line Shipping’s local market knowledge and execution capabilities. The alliance is structured as a non-equity strategic joint venture framework rather than a merger or acquisition. Operating across 17 countries, Interocean Group alongside marine engineering specialist Green Line Shipping will agree on execution models and governance mechanisms on a project-by-project basis.
