May 22, Fineko/abc.az. The 2nd production line of the first production workshop has been put into operation at plant ASK Glass (a subsidiary of Azerbaijan Industrial Corporation OJSC).

The plant reports that it is expected that commissioning of the new production line will enable to bring plant’s capacity up to 90% of design capacity. Production capacity of the plant will be 80-85 million units of glass containers and the enterprise will open 50-60 new jobs.

ASK Glass LLC, created in 2018, is one of the subsidiaries of Azerbaijan Industrial Corporation OJSC.

The plant with an area of 22 hectares is equipped with the most modern equipment from Italy and is the largest manufacturer in the region. A small part of the main raw materials is produced in the country, and some are imported from Russia, Ukraine, Turkey and other countries. Supply of fragments of glass used as raw materials is mainly carried out by the processing enterprises of the country.
