May 21, Fineko/abc.az. Today, the Committee on Economic Policy, Industry & Entrepreneurship held a meeting at Milli Majlis.

Committee’s chair Ziyad Samedzadeh noted that despite the global risks, the economy of Azerbaijan demonstrated dynamic growth in 2018.

"Opportunities for the non-oil, transport and other sectors have been expanded compared to previous years. Last year, AZN 17.2 bn were invested in the economy of Azerbaijan. The indicator is by AZN 3 bn more against 2017. At the same time, 70% of those funds were received from internal sources," Samedzadeh said.
