May 13, Fineko/abc.az. The State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan has published the inflation rate in the country.

The Committee informs that the prices for foods and services for Jan-Apr 2019 grew by 2.4% versus the 2018 same term.

"The prices for foods, beverages and tobacco increased by 2%, for nonfoods by 1.2%, for services to the population by 3.7%," the Committee said.

In April alone (against March) the prices for consumer goods and services increased by 0.4%, including for foods, beverages and tobacco by 8%, nonfoods and services by 0.1%.
