When delivering speech at yesterday’s conference on the State Program of Socio-Economic Development of the Regions the Azerbaijani leader said: "Over the past 15 years we’ve taken great steps aimed at improving the business environment. We’ve also provided great support to development of entrepreneurship. The subsidized loans given to entrepreneurs have exceeded AZN 2 bn for the reported term.

It gladdens that only AZN 1 bn of this amount was allocated from the State Budget, and the remaining finances for over AZN 1 bn were given in the form of loans at the expense of extended and repaid loans.  Thus, we’ve created quite large financial resources that will allow us to reduce the burden on the State Budget and provide in the future the financial support for entrepreneurs on the subsidized terms," the head of state said.
