August 6, Fineko/abc.az. In the 1st half of 2026, bp and its joint project partners spent approx. $0.6 million on social investment projects in Azerbaijan.

According to bp Azerbaijan’s report, within six months, these finances were directed for 19 educational programs, 2 projects on development of local entrepreneurship and skills, as well as 2 environmental initiatives.

In addition, bp, as a separate company, invested around $900,000 on its behalf in sponsorship projects in the country. These included 34 initiatives: 19 educational projects, 1 entrepreneurship development project, 5 projects to support cultural heritage and sports, 1 environmental initiative and 8 conferences and seminars. Thus, the total amount of finances allocated by bp and its partners for social and sponsorship programs in the 1st half of the year reached $1.5 million.
