Kazakh Crude Transit via Baku Route Set to Grow by 31%

August 8, Fineko/abc.az. Kazakhstan’s national oil and gas company KazMunayGas aims to boost its crude oil exports through the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline by 31% in 2026 compared to 2025. The planned increase will bring total annual shipments along the route to 1.7 million tonnes.

During the first half of the year, 704,000 tonnes of Kazakh oil were dispatched via the Port of Aktau toward the BTC link.

Spanning 1,768 kilometers, the BTC pipeline features an annual throughput capacity exceeding 50 million tonnes.
