US Bans Imports from 43 China-Linked Entities Over Forced Labor Concerns

08:00 - 3.08.2026

August 3, Fineko/abc.az. The US government has added 43 China-linked entities to the Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act (UFLPA) Entity List, banning imports of their goods into the country.

This marks the largest single addition to the list since the enactment of the law in December 2021 and the first update under the Trump administration, bringing the total number of restricted entities from 144 to 187.

Key Details:

  • Affected Sectors: The newly restricted entities span electronics, pharmaceuticals, metals, cotton, food processing, and lithium production.

  • Major Companies: High-profile additions include "Hunan Aihua Group" (one of China's major capacitor manufacturers), global exporter "Chacha Food" (shipping to nearly 50 countries), "Tianshan Aluminum Group", and "Tefeng Pharmaceutical".

  • Reasoning: US officials maintain that these entities utilize or source materials tied to forced labor involving Uyghurs and other minority groups in Xinjiang.
