Ralph Lauren Beats Q1 Estimates and Raises Revenue Outlook — Shares Jump 7%

07:37 - 7.08.2026

August 7, Fineko/abc.az. Luxury fashion brand Ralph Lauren beat Wall Street estimates for its first-quarter financial results, reporting revenue of $1.96 billion against the $1.87 billion expected by analysts.

Adjusted earnings per share reached $4.59, surpassing expectations of $4.32 per share. Driven by the strong quarterly performance and an upgraded full-year revenue forecast, the New York-based company's shares rose approximately 7% in morning trading.

Sales growth was primarily fueled by sustained demand from younger consumers in Asia and North America for high-end apparel collections. First-quarter revenue jumped 24% in Asia—propelled by a more than 40% surge in China—and increased 13% in North America. Conversely, sales growth in Europe moderated to 7%, impacted by macroeconomic headwinds, lingering uncertainty surrounding the war in Iran, and dampened regional tourism traffic.
