August 4, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan and Switzerland are currently drafting several new bilateral agreements to further expand cooperation, according to Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jeyhun Bayramov.

The Foreign Minister highlighted that over the past 30 years, Swiss investments in Azerbaijan reached $1.6 billion, while Azerbaijani investments in Switzerland totaled $2.3 billion. In 2025, trade turnover between the two nations stood at approximately $1.8 billion.

Currently, 110 Swiss companies are registered in Azerbaijan, with 87 actively operating across industry, construction, agriculture, transport, and trade sectors. The signing of additional agreements is expected in the near future.
