Azerbaijan intends to increase exports of rural products up to $2 bn

June 4, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan intends to increase exports of agricultural products from the current $1.5 bn up to $2 bn by 2030.

ABC.AZ reports that Deputy Minister of Agriculture Zaur Aliyev made this statement at a press conference dedicated to the State Program for the Development of Production and Processing of Agricultural, Fisheries & Aquaculture Products for 2026-2030.

According to Aliyev, export growth is envisaged not only in quantitative and monetary terms: "Support measures aimed at diversifying the geography of supplies will also be implemented. The key activities of the State Program cover the fields of crop production and animal husbandry. The document also stipulates increasing the availability of services necessary to increase production and increase productivity in various areas of agriculture."
